Oh God we see the wonder of this gift
of life to all of us, & bodies too,
which let us move about ourselves and lift
up other things, and oversee for you.
And you're the source of life, & health, & strength.
We trust you now to give, in gracious ways,
Whatever it is, so, we'll grow - at length
to be as our big brother now displays..
a man of sorrows, who's aquainted with
the grief that we have let loose in this world,
yet scorning of its pretenses, as myth,
to be immortal, God's true word was curled
within that life, and given free, full reign,
and listened to, and taken in as food,
and then came out his mouth to help again
as mumma birds would feed their chicks "prechewed".
Oh God, please help us. Dani in her loss
of Mum, and Marty's good kidneys somewhere,
and people with these COVID viruses,
and housing needs you know folk have. - Our prayer.
