And since we are "at war" with other "ways"

of being on this Earth, that have sway here,

espesh'ly over humans in this place,

to live out this alternative way clear-

ly you must be alert & self-controlled,

so that you have integrity, and choose 

to pray, and from God's side could be consoled

and heard by him, who loves to take off shoes.

Above all things, love one another true,

'coz love will cover over many sins.

And open up your homes to others who

in need, don't have to ask if you've room in

some place within a corner. Don't complain. 

Each one, as a good manager of God's 

quite different gifts, must use for good (not shame)

of others, all the special gifts they've got

somehow from God. Whoever is to speak 

must speak as though he's speaking what's from God; whoever serves must serve with strength (though weak)

from God, so that all things rejoice, we're shod

with shoes that let us walk to tell the news ..

the joyful news that leads to praise of good-

ness, and its source is recognized. Folk choose

responses right in line, & praise this God!

But God will not be pleased until all pow'r

& glory are invested in his son,

not just for one small time, like then or now,

for ever and forever… on and on!

You must be self-controlled and alert, to be able to pray. Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins. Open your homes to each other without complaining. Each one, as a good manager of God's different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God. Whoever preaches must preach God's messages; whoever serves must serve with the strength that God gives, so that in all things praise may be given to God through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and power forever and ever.
