More power to Yah (and from Yah)!

The Lord is everlasting (front and back!)
he’s God of gods, creator of the earth,
who was around before it all was black,
and in his “womb” the Universe was birthed.

His life is not dependant on our air,
he doesn't need our water or our food,
He never loses power (or his care
for children of himself, who’ll be born soon)!

His understanding no one else can “get”.
So, no chance of “just following his track”,
unless he helps you out (we're always “wet
behind the ears”, but) what a “Dad” to back!

And he gives pow’r to weak & weary folk,
and strength to all the powerless to change.
So think of the most thoughtful, faithful bloke,
or sheila, and know they’re below God’s range,

but learning to express their parent’s love.
How bless’d are those who trust in God, The Lord,
And rest their confidence in who’s above
them, consciously let him their hope restore.

Do you know they are like those Eden trees
with roots that reach deep so, watered with ease,
their leaves stay green, and  fruit bears with no angst.

This so reminds me of that “Psalm One” chap,
that “second Adam”, or the “Son of Man”,
That “someone* who is blamed for all our crap,
yet walked with ease where all this shite began.

*  The person who amazingly, will be most “named & blamed & shamed” within Australia today! Spoken of as though he (who bore our failures and sorrows) were the cause of all our wrongdoings, and stupidities, and idiocies, lazy self-centeredness, and rationalizations! Oh God(!), how do you do it? I have NO IDEA! But I'm glad U R GOD (not me)!

The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:28-29. (PM Version)

Blessed are those who trust in The Lord and have made The Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7,8 (PM Version)

Our words are weak. Our actions speak ...

Well, who pursues both righteousness and love -
finds life! That is a proverb, and  a fact
(that's if they persevere - word from above
from the Ambassador who spoke and act-

ed out his message given him by Christ
and understood from scripture then as well;
abundant life, with favour drenched , suffice
to say gets honour, glory’s “show & tell”,

for God gives immortality to those.
I bow before God’s presence and I praise
his Holy name for his love won't dispose
of faithfulness. For God’s word here displays

his greatness, & his promises and name
are greater, far, than anything at all.
So even when your path, oh Lord, seems shame
or takes me through the valley of appall-

ing deepest darkness, fear will not prevail.
For you remain most close to me, and lead
me through it all the way, thus will I sail
close to the wind of your spirit and heed

your ev’ry word, for your authority
is strength for me, and peace (shalom) that thrives.
The comfort of your love takes all my fear
and leaves its leaves crushed, broken, like spiced chives!

So I will never be lonely again,
for as Yeshua said, his Father’s near.
When I walk with no other human friend,
it’s just because these eyes can't see that clear!

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life!!
An abundant life drenched with favour and honour. Proverbs 21:21 (PM Version)

He  will reward each one according to his works :  eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality, ….  Rom. 2:6‭-‬10

I bow down before your divine presence and praise your Holy name for your unfailing love and faithfulness. For your name and the promises of your word are greater than everything. Psalms 138:2  (PM Version)

Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me.
You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away all my fear. I will never be lonely, for you are always near!!  Psalm 23:4 (PM Version)

Don't dismiss dis "Sist."!

So Mandy Pandy’s just turned Fifty Four(!)
(I hope that’s right) but that’s not nights, or months.
It’s years I'm talking of! No baulking - more -
one adds to list. Does she insist it does?

We'll in a sense I see that hence-forth she
has made such choice with girl, and boys, and fuss,
and sure en-sistered Shell, & Craig, & me!
Think I can say that here today, from us;

that we are glad for good we've had from her.
The other girl, and boys that curl, with John,
round Mandy’s life, and have survived, confir
on her the “wife”, & “mother” life, that’s shone

from her insist-ent love, that’s missed when gone,
and thoughtfulness that seems to bless us all,
a list’ning ear, a straight talk dear, move on(!)
and yet her gifts here often lift this Paul,

and I suspect that who respects our “Man”
are those who most often work close to her,
for in a team what often seems to pan
out helping much is those as such who were

just working hard to keep their yard, and play
their part, instead of shaking head and tut-
ting, gossiping, & loudmouthing, or say-
ing what is not to help the lot un-rutt!

Now “Man”, I start to play my part in this.
I'm glad that you’ve not got to prove a thing,
but just to open windows, cope. 'n “Sist”;
I'm glad I've had your friendship’s mad hoping!

If you have the choice to be right or kind, choose...

Our faith in Jesus, gives God’s kind of “right”
right to us, and we know, by rights, his kind-
ness and his grace are what save us from night,
by giving eyes to “see”, & hands to “find”

our Father who would help us grow right up
to being all he thought of, when he made
us from the dust of untold interrup-
tions, preparations mixing light and shade.

And his propensity or bias is
that when one of his kids says “I trust you”
He  says “righteo”, to “us”, his “nestlings”,
his instinct is to know what he can do.

And he knows if we stick with him and trust,
we will grow up, and we’ll become like him!
And we'll be right as rain, that falls on dust,
and know how softly to help life to win.

His time’s the thing that often seems quite “out”
to us, but maybe it’s our time that is!
“Millenium Bug”? - there is without a doubt,
One of our days he sees as Thousand Years,

but also then a thousand of our years,
can seem to him just like a “yesterday”.
And sometimes he takes time, it now appears
(maybe a week), to come out and to say

what’s on his mind, while still our world’s perverse...
He’s saying we are flawless in His eyes.
And his word is what keeps the Universe…
This means we can enjoy and not despise,

a true and lasting peace with God, because
he is the one (who loves a challenge too)
to whom it is no problem that our flaws
are still around, 'coz he knows  what to do.

And what God did in giving us a hand,
a leader who would lead us into “right”,
bring kindness, true forgiveness, to the land,
shines as our star, our sun, so very bright!

Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in His eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus has done for us. Romans 5:1 (PM Version)

hold on! ... let go!

So, “never hold a grudge against someone”,
we find that hard to do sometimes (I know)
but we have often learned forgiveness fun
(to do it and to trust it, on the go):

with others it is hard to do, quite true,
but closer you get to yourself - it’s not,
assuming you have always loved that “you”,
well, then you can forgive yourself a lot;

“a multitude of sins”, said James & Pete
(those mostly good ambassadors of Christ)
are covered, or not even grown from seed,
are suffocated by love undenied!

Stop hoping, or expecting to get eve-
en. For the world we're hoping for won't come
that way, we are too immature to leave
before we damage life, or love, we're dumb(!)

or else just weak, reactive, “for ourselves”,
more than for other people who are here
right with us on this Earth, within their shells,
or skins, that are more “hides” than they appear!

So, carefully consider what is right
within the sight of others, from their view
and vantage point, and whether “day” or “night”
time is occuring in the deeds you do!

It's like God's ruler said “for all will see,
and hear, what's done & said in secret-ness”,
so do your best to live as one who's free,
now that you know you’ll either curse or bless!

Never hold a grudge or expect to get even, carefully consider what is right in sight of all men. Do your best to live as everybody's friend. Romans 12:17-18. (PM Version)

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)

remember this: whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.  James 5:20 NIV

... Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: ‘Be  on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.  There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.  What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs....’. Luke 12:1‭-‬12 NIVUK

dash o' cross...

When I was younger, and quite naïve, maybe about 7-10 yrs old, we had a black puppy (a Dachshund crossed with a Foxy, as I recall) which we called Cindy. Cindy was lovely, we got her as soon as she was weaned. She played with us, and licked our hands and faces and loved to run with us, but she had one besetting sin, and because of this we could not take her out the front of the house unless she was on a leash. She wouldn’t keep off the road. Dad and Mum started a training regime, in which the older children helped participate too. She was intelligent & it worked, so that at last one day, she got to such a stage in her training and maturity, that she would sit on the side of the road, on the footpath side of the almost flat, slightly curved, concrete gutter and not even put a foot out on the road, let alone go across it - unless she was given permission to. For less than a week, we could let her out the front, even on the footpath, if we were out the front of the house. How glad we were for Cindy.

But, before a week had gone by, Mum heard a car going by out the front of the house, and a skid of tyres, ending in a thump. When we went out the front, there was Cindy lying on the front footpath with blood leaking out of her head, not quite dead, but on the way… and a car parked nearby, with a distraught lady looking over the dog. I assumed that Cindy must have unlearned all her training. I remember being so confused, disoriented, and slightly cross,  when I found out that in fact, Cindy had not put a foot onto the road.

The lady in anxious fear and trepidation had seen the dog on the side of the road as she was about to drive by, and knowing what puppies were often like, had assumed that this dog was about to run across the road, and thus make her responsible for hitting someone’s lovely little puppy. But she didn’t know how fast it was going to run, so she had steered for the one place that she knew the dog would NOT be. On the footpath, where Cindy then sat. So that is where she had aimed, mounted the footpath, & hit Cindy.

learning to be authors under author-ity

So listen; “Boast not ‘bout the future’s shine.
For those that say "Tomorrow or today
we'll go to this place or that, spend some time
and setup business and make lots of, hey,

commodities, or profit, money, liv-
ing ". No-one knows just what tomorrow brings.
Instead know that your lives are here for  giv-
ing, out God's goodness with all of the things

he gives to you to let you find their use
in spreading all his goodness over earth.
But say “Our lives are in the hands of who’s
the God, & if he wills options are birthed,

& we may do this thing, or else do that'.
For God’s the hope that holds me, not a whim,
a stronghold shelt’ring me. He’s out to bat
for me, he is my God, and I trust him.

God, I invite your searching gaze into
my heart. Please point out all that needs a bath
within me. Test, and sift my cares, all through.
Please see if there is any harmfull path

I'm walking on; and lead me back to your
bright, glorious, and everlasting ways-
The path that brings me back to you for more,
of you yourself, the source of good that splays

around your world - where it came from “before”.
Bless'd those who, poor in spirit, rich in need,
then realise their need for God, the Lord:
of heaven’s kingdom they are salt & seed!

Listen, don't boast about tomorrow. Those that say " Today or tomorrow we'll go to this place or city, spend sometime and setup business and make lots of money and profit". Know one knows what tomorrow will bring. Instead say "our lives are in Gods hands and if he is willing, we may do this or that'  James 4: 13-15. (PM Version)

God is the hope that holds me and the stronghold that shelters me. He is my God, and I trust him.  Psalms 91:2. (PM Version)

God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart.
Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me.
Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares.
See if there is any path of pain  I'm walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, and everlasting ways-
The path that brings me back to you. Psalms 139:23-24. (The Passion Translation)

Blessed are those who are poor in spirit and realise their need for God, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to them. Matthew 5:3 (PM Version)

in all your ways acknowledge him.......

Let us acknowledge God, Yahweh, the Lord.
Let us press on to know God (and be known).
As surely as the sun rises, he’s soared
above the mountains, clouds and trees, he's shown!

Above humanity, through History,
“the Lord who will appear”, has now done so.
His glory and his cloud of mystery
that tented with his people long ago,

and then appeared above the cov’nant box
to his anointed priest, there once a year,
came down in tent and temple (which unlocks
the presence of the God who “will appear”).

Because the thing about this True God is
to see his face is like a tree of life,
humanity has been banished from this
till new-created, they could be his wife.

Thus with this old creation’s kind of life,
our eyes cannot see God and just “keep on”
(this is a mercy that he has contrived)
our God, and Father, who is good, and strong.

They said that “He would come to us like rain”,
welcome and refreshing when it’s needed,
which falls to Earth to bring new life again
in season, at home right time for ground seeded.

They said that there one day the Lord would come
into his temple, once again to be
with all his people (not only just some),
and build that temple up- as “God’s”, “Holy”!

The Lord said to Moses: ‘Tell your brother Aaron that he is not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die. For I will appear in the cloud over the atonement cover.  Lev. 16:2 NIV
Let us acknowledge the Lord. Let us press on to know God. As surely as the sun rises, the Lord will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3 (PM Version)

‘I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,’ says the Lord Almighty.  Mal. 3:1 NIVUK

blood, mouth, love, truth, spirit, word, life, death, LIFE, breath.

Oh God, we like your patient willingness,
we like the way you're straightforward with us,
and yet can understand our great weakness,
our need for symbol, and sometimes for fuss!

And yet you also want to grow our minds
(and hearts, and souls, and strength as well), to love*,
and live with truth, and let the truth then find
some place in us to breathe on from above.

“each one after their kind”: two “life”’s in purse:
in One a mouth begins to give this “mess”
an order: welcome-kiss, breath, smile, build, bless.
Two: tearing down, bite and frown, eat, suck, curse!

At first in life, we have a mix of both
in this beginning of heaven and hell,
we learn to give our love, which is our troth,
or else to take in like a leach quite well.

And so we take our pick which Son of “A”
to copy so we grow more like our “Dad”.
The first one was named by his mum as “Cain”.
“The second was Yeshua”, I would add.

* See vid here: https://thebibleproject.com/videos/meod-strength/

While considering Genesis-Leviticus, & the passage in Deuteronomy which is interpreted by Yeshua more than once: "Man does not live by bread only, but by everything that comes from the mouth of God", as well as the Hebrew/Aramaic saying for a human (which Jesus used as his favourite name for himself): "Son of Adam", often translated into English as "Son of Adam".

...on earth to. ... . love like you

Everyone else
in the World seems to love,
they don't seem shells.
They are able to shove

'self out the way
and focus on serving
those brought today,
and still give unswerving-

-ly, but I'm not!
Like a sieve with some cracks,
can't carry what
you give me for ol' Jack's

or Jill's need there-
my own lacks are e-NOR-
-mouse I need "where",
I run to, you pour your
love in me there,

and if it's close,
by the time I can heft
(to whom you chose)
some love-dust might be left?

Still there's my holes,
your gold-love-dust is fine,
so much revolves
around that all the time...

None of this works,
as I think of it now
your Love dain't shirk
and it pours out somehow

it's nat-ur-al
crystals are "un-caking",
will flow lat'ral,
won't clump in hot baking

You're on about
both spreading & scatt'ring,
not "leaving out"
as though folk aren't matt'ring...

Oh, what to dur?
'fyou want to fit more in
a colander,
you'll have to keep pouring!

What do you get out of this world? & put in?

Don't set your heart's affections on this world,
or let yourself begin to love its things.
Your Father's love is what is really curled
around, and also inside you, it’s wings

protect, and also grow from you - like his.
The love from God, and love from this world are..
well at core they are diff’rently done biz’,
both incompatible with each other.

For God’s love is all spilling bubbling out,
he doesn't need a thing from off his world
(in fact the world is like a water-spout
that’s coming from his mind and heart unfurled)

So, when we pass it on, that’s what we do!
We're like a hose that’s plugged in to the tap,
or else electric cords plugged in a room,
where A.C. Electricity can zap.

But this world’s way is to commodify
to turn it into something that’s from “me”,
by batt'ries it could still electrify,
but all that it can use is it’s D.C.

This world does “luv”. It’s electricity
is like an Angler Fish that gives off light
in order to “help little things.. to see”
or maybe, “.. to be full” - it changed its mind!

So what comes from this world is: its desires,
and they are passing, right along with it!
Who loves to do the will of God who’s higher
shall live forever, and love ev’ry bit!

Don't set your affections of your heart on this world or in loving the things of this world. The love of the Father and the love of the world are in compatible. The world only offers things of the flesh and the obsession with status and importance- none of these things are from God.
This world and its desires are in the process of passing away, but those who love to do the will of God live forever.
1 John 2: 15-17. (PM Version)
