More power to Yah (and from Yah)!

The Lord is everlasting (front and back!)
he’s God of gods, creator of the earth,
who was around before it all was black,
and in his “womb” the Universe was birthed.

His life is not dependant on our air,
he doesn't need our water or our food,
He never loses power (or his care
for children of himself, who’ll be born soon)!

His understanding no one else can “get”.
So, no chance of “just following his track”,
unless he helps you out (we're always “wet
behind the ears”, but) what a “Dad” to back!

And he gives pow’r to weak & weary folk,
and strength to all the powerless to change.
So think of the most thoughtful, faithful bloke,
or sheila, and know they’re below God’s range,

but learning to express their parent’s love.
How bless’d are those who trust in God, The Lord,
And rest their confidence in who’s above
them, consciously let him their hope restore.

Do you know they are like those Eden trees
with roots that reach deep so, watered with ease,
their leaves stay green, and  fruit bears with no angst.

This so reminds me of that “Psalm One” chap,
that “second Adam”, or the “Son of Man”,
That “someone* who is blamed for all our crap,
yet walked with ease where all this shite began.

*  The person who amazingly, will be most “named & blamed & shamed” within Australia today! Spoken of as though he (who bore our failures and sorrows) were the cause of all our wrongdoings, and stupidities, and idiocies, lazy self-centeredness, and rationalizations! Oh God(!), how do you do it? I have NO IDEA! But I'm glad U R GOD (not me)!

The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:28-29. (PM Version)

Blessed are those who trust in The Lord and have made The Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7,8 (PM Version)
