God's goal...

Be joyful always! Pray unceasingly!
And in the midst of everything give thanks,

for what is good, what has come graciously,

instead of letting “bad” just cause you angst.

For this is growing God's plan, that your eyes

would see the good that he is seeing too,

and even though there’s wrong that you despise

you know God’s leader will make all things new.

Though, that is not enough for you to lounge

about all day, you know that he’ll lead you

to act as his ambassador, no “scrounge”,

so join in where you can, but let him too!

You know his name, you've seen his game well played,

the kind of things he did, he wants you to

join in on, and then do not be so stayed

that you forget the world will BE renewed.
