The end of day that celebrates the birth
of Sam the Man, the Spaniel, and the mirth
that he has brought to life for all of us.
We're glad we've had this man for these yea-rs.
The end of the beginning comes about,
we hope if little girl does come along.
This is the year to hear whispers and shouts
more as you see from God's perspective's long-
range love & thoughtfulness to help one grow
not just to be compliant, but to know
another one, and yet to train her so
that she can learn how training regimes go.
We're glad, your Mum & I, of your good heart,
determined to do all you can to serve,
those round about, and yet to learn the part
of husband to a woman, who's go nerve
to marry such a man as she has got.
Keep looking up to who will love to give
you wisdom when you lack it, and know not
the forward way, in choices as you live.
