What"s sin? He asked me, with an interest in
the truth, and understanding what is said.
To answer such a question could be sin,
a useless waste of energy for dead
men walking, talking, looking quite a treat;
but in this instance, with that context there,
it's worth consideration, so to meet
a question with an honest answer where
we can, as much as possible, in God's
good world, where love of God is number one
command which must be swallowed by us bods
along with number two ('coz it's off-sprung
from number one, within the family).
And these two mean all laws/ commands that come
from God the source of life and love, whom we
have heard, and truth be told, encountered some,
through ev'ry good gift come to us in life,
and ev'ry particle of love that flies
around from friends and mothers, husband, wife… -
If we're unfaithful to this one, we're lies!
That might be why the Lord of hea'en and earth
who's sent ambassadors for his new rule,
entrusting them to help us with "new birth",
gave one of them an insight, not to fool
us further into ignorance, but to
help us in wisdom, understanding what's
important for us living, me and you,
to live with skill, in all this world of God's:
"..whatever is not from faith is sin." Romans 14:23
