truly blest..

So those who trust The Lord are truly blest,

they’ve made The Lord their hope and confidence.

They’re like those planted trees of Eden’s best

along a riverbank, with root tips  drenched.

Such trees are not quite  bothered or demeaned

by heat or dry times, ev’ry now and then,

for even in a drought their leaves stay green,

and don't stop bearing fruit, time & again.

For who pursues true righteousness and love

finds life! - abundant life starting right here

that's drenched with favour from the God above,

&  honoured by him, with a new life clear.

So trust in THE Lord God with all your heart,

don't try to work things out all on your own.

Acknowledge God in every little part

of your life, he’ll direct things from his throne!

Since it’s for freedom Christ has set us free!

Let’s now embrace this with an open heart

and learn from him how to serve faithfully,

to so express the love there at the start.

I'll learn to be content with what I’ve got,

and who I am (a baby not yet born),

to not stress or get anxious for the lot

is God's gift to us - ev'ry hair that's shorn

is known to him, he’s “care”- full (more than vexed).

This God designed the cycles in my cells,

and body one (before birth), then this next,

with power and understanding. My trust dwells,

is firmly planted, growing; ’nthis context,

my fear about the next upgrade dispels(!)

, and “options focussed” means I'm less perplexed.
