First things first, then secondly seconds

O God you're first and foremost in heaven
(where everything's in place) because you ARE!
May your Godship in these temples leaven
the places where we go both near and far.

We're glad your house YOU made, where you reside,
accomodates us too, for we're its priests.
It feels so homely, here inside your "hide",
these bodies you've loaned us, for now at least!

But still we're groaning till our eggs are cracked
and chick-hens like their dad come home to roost
and start to live (as bigger worlds unstack)
& metaphores must change to swan (or goose?).
