Oh God your word is solid and secure.

What you speak of - becomes, starts to exist.

Refined, and thought of much, it will endure.

The scriptures say you’re slow to speak, and list

a number of times you step in and say

a something to your children for their need

was great, they cried to you for help and they

looked up to you, were open to your seed

which could grow godly character in “soil”

of human life. We’re like a garden bed

the use of which is place to grow & toil,

to cultivate the weeds, pull leaves that shed,

where vines are snipped and trained to better fruit,

and in our case, whatever needs exist

and God acknowledges could be more beaut,

we find he says to our heart, for the gist

of what is needed, maybe just one thing,

is now to listen to the Word of God

that’s spoken to reveal himself, he'll sing

& dance about his word, his son, his nod

of “yes-ness”. For this Christ is God’s big “Yes!”

upon the world, and to us also too.

Beloved, believed-in. “In” is just the best.

For we’re in Christ! And Christ’s in me & you.

And if we are cleaned up, anointed, and

filled with the breath of God himself, then we

may speak as though (a prophet’s in the land),

the Word of God’s to build up, speak slowly.
