by raising children, you are growing friends.

It’s Christ Jesus who died, on cross of wood.
He died to his own thoughts & ways & hopes,
and listened closely, so to love by act,
and taught us to entrust to him who copes
all of our hopes, and dreams, and worth, as should
a human image of a God so good.

For God was in Christ’s, watch, listen, & try.
You resurrected more than life from death.
In love he obeyed, his record’s intact.
Connection that’s deep, makes question of wheth-
er we are good enough, very small-time!
