Gods way is perfect and the word of The Lord is proven. He is a shield and refuge to all who trust Him

Gods Way is perfect,
Yeshua's his name.
The Word of The Lord
came to us. We blamed

him, called him "glutton",
said he was a drunk,
then we would button-
hole him, as we thunk

up ways to accuse,
to see him "caught out".
Meanwhile he refused
to play with our doubt

and flaming un-faith-
fullness - he sighed loud,
and wouldn't play with
all those who were proud.

But a-long his way
he told stories to
who came, & he'd say
"You see that is true?"

And when they did not,
he'd ask more questions,
wouldn't "Tell you what.."
- even suggestions-

unless you humbled
yourself, and were true -
admit you stumbled,
ask him to help you.

And then with a smile
a twinkle of eye
he'd open his dial
and open your mind..

All the while living
it out before you.
His Life was giving,
he's been proven True.

And he is a Shield,
a Refuge to all
who trust him and yield
to his Way (though they're small).
