God that Jesus prayed to

Oh God that our Lord Jesus Christ prayed to
(whom HE taught us to now address as “Our...
Our Father” of all glory, honour), you
impart your spirit of wisdom and pow’r,

& revelation, so that we may know
your christened leader of humanity,
and understand your purposes, and show
your pow’r in our lives; that our hearts may be

now able to receive your brilliant hope,
resulting when the wealth of your invest-
-ment in us now is understood; (we’ll cope!)
that we’d exper-i-ence the limitless

t-timing and effectiveness of your ..
your pow-er which you worked in Christ when you
raised him from death, exalted to the fore-
most place of highest honour there to rule.

Supreme Authority in Hea’nly realms,
so over all authority on Earth.
As we received quite freely, as do elms,
and pines, and gums, and even as does turf,

receive their energy from up above,
so we’ve received forgiveness, freedom, peace,
but also now the kingdom of his love,
he’s given freely, so they’ll be released

to others - to set people free from all
that binds them up, and stops them ruling well
as baby gods, his purposes aren’t small.
He frees folk from the influence of hell.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would impart to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know Christ and understand God’s purpose and power in your life; that your heart may receive the brightness of hope resulting when the wealth of God’s glorious investment in you is understood; that you would experience the immeasurable greatness of his power which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and exalted him  to the place of highest honour and supreme authority in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 1:17-20 (PM Version).

Freely I have received, not only forgiveness and salvation, but also the authority of the King. So I must freely release the Kingdom of God to others - all that that means in terms of hope, peace and the power of the Kingdom to set people free from all that binds them. Matthew 10: 8 (PM Version)
