And when with clear delight, creative love
once walked about this world and shared our life,
and acted like his God - "The Helper" of
the Psalms* and all those prophets who were rife
with poetry and plays to show as planned,
to dis-believing fearful children of
Is-rä-el, both in desert and in land,
the nature of Creator God of Love.
The Lord, the Boss, the Master of this world,
who gave it a beginning, and then will
draw all things to an end with flags unfurled,
while happ'ly ever after, living still…
With time for many chapters; many tales,
that yet could be lived out, and then be told,
in that bright land of rest, with no more wails,
but more games and adventures for the bold,
with time galore to share with great good friends,
to go for quiet evening/morning walks,
to do good tasks together, to good ends,
with new beginnings, and without those baulks.
When God thus walked with men, and shared his world,
as when with Abraham, and Moses, he
spoke face to face of futures he had curled
within his palm, though all his children be
the children of a god, who thus could choose
to bring more life to Earth creatively.
Thus borne here from above, on this earth whose
pangs are indicting our nativity.
