THE WORD OF GOD, THE LORD...

When God speaks and allows for light to be -
10 times it says “..God said..”; but “God saw ..” what?),
10 words when heard stirred matter to O B
E Y did 'e speak to stuff that lived not?

His word that stirred and made the universe,
was also what gave blessings to new life,
and asked them questions, maybe which seemed terse,
responses worded to husband and wife,

and creature (which was put under their rule).
He warned in words also, of bloody curse
that now would try to use them as a tool.
Before that, he names things which he observes

and then helps them use language, to name well,
to understand, and keep in memory,
the things that would save them from bringing “hell”
more into this good world, for you and me.

When later on God grieves about his choice
to make these humans who can choose themselves
above all others, who can make a noise,
send out their word, but not keep it as well,

so God is grieved and hastens consequence,
but also gives his word on this as well
so people can then use it as a fence
or marker that can help folk. Who can tell

us what it means for us, this word of God?
That makes and breaks, and takes and gives all things,
including life, communicates a wad
and gives stability, though it gives wings!

I'm wond'ring if God is, well, like he's hor’s?
So rarely giving message verbally,
and yet still he communicates of course.
Still, hor’s might be more well spoken than me..

..who speaks a lot, so sometimes says too much;
and sometimes words responses beforehand,
and thus I'm often clearly out of touch;
'coz I did not first hear, to understand.

We want to grow a love of God's own Word
and list'ning ear among his people here,
-  more solid than what else is seen or heard,
it gives us ground to walk on without fear.

But weirder still is what he wants to do
through his own people, in this day and age,
for any speech they give to others who
are list-en-ing (or not), must at this stage

be thought of as the very word of God,
like oracle's those prophets gave away
back when they acted out, told stories odd-
ly, strangely “showing” what God had to say.

For they had thoughts they thought came from above,
and often-times enacted them to whom
God sent them to, to help them grow to love
from fruitful heart, not ornamental bloom.

What word of God is carried here to folks?
What's the most helpful word to speak of God?
I s’pose it's him I'll trust, even his jokes
are more fun, and more helpful, than the lot!

And God said… (10 times, Gen 1:)

Six, no seven times in Gen 1, it says "And God saw that it (...) was …  good!" Gen 1: 4,10,12,18,21,25,31)

This is what the Lord says, He who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it - the Lord is His name. 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'  Jeremiah 33:2-3 (PM Version)

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (PM Version)
So they must no longer use the words ‘the Lord 's burden,’ because if any of them do, I will make my message a real burden to them. The people have perverted the words of their God, the living God, the Lord Almighty. Jeremiah 23:36 GNTD
He said, “Prophesy to the bones. Tell these dry bones to listen to the word of the Lord .  Ezekiel 37:4 GNTD

As they were sitting at the table, the word of the Lord came to the old prophet,  1 Kings 13:20 GNTD

He was a friend of the governor of the island, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent man. The governor called Barnabas and Saul before him because he wanted to hear the word of God.  Acts 13:7 GNTD

In this powerful way the word of the Lord kept spreading and growing stronger.  Acts 19:20 GNTD

Such people teach that it is wrong to marry and to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten, after a prayer of thanks, by those who are believers and have come to know the truth. Everything that God has created is good; nothing is to be rejected, but everything is to be received with a prayer of thanks, because the word of God and the prayer make it acceptable to God.  1 Timothy 4:3‭-‬5 GNTD
Because I preach the Good News, I suffer and I am even chained like a criminal. But the word of God is not in chains,  2 Timothy 2:9 GNTD

'My brothers and sisters, let us against all hope, in hope believe! Let us not weaken in faith as we face the facts of our circumstances. No, let us not waver through unbelief regarding the promises of God, but be strengthened in our faith and give glory to God, being fully persuaded that He has the power to do what He has promised!!'
Romans 4:18‭-‬21 (CR Version)

The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.  Hebrews 4:12 GNTD

I also saw the souls of those who had been executed because they had proclaimed the truth that Jesus revealed and the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image, nor had they received the mark of the beast on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and ruled as kings with Christ for a thousand years.  Revelation 20:4 GNTD

Then God commanded, “Let there be light”—and light appeared.  Then God commanded, “Let there be a dome to divide the water and to keep it in two separate places”—and it was done. So God made a dome, and it separated the water under it from the water above it. Then God commanded, “Let the water below the sky come together in one place, so that the land will appear”—and it was done. Then he commanded, “Let the earth produce all kinds of plants, those that bear grain and those that bear fruit”—and it was done. Then God commanded, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate day from night and to show the time when days, years, and religious festivals begin; Then God commanded, “Let the water be filled with many kinds of living beings, and let the air be filled with birds.” Then God commanded, “Let the earth produce all kinds of animal life: domestic and wild, large and small”—and it was done.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

The Mishnah states: “With ten sayings the world was created. What does this come to teach us? Indeed, could it not have been created with one saying? It was to exact punishment from the wicked who destroy the world that was created with ten sayings, and to bestow goodly reward upon the righteous who sustain the world that was created with ten sayings.”[3][3]      Avot 5:1

The Ten Utterances consist of the nine times it says "And G‑d said…" in the story of creation at the beginning of Genesis, together with the first verse, "In the beginning, G‑d created the heavens and the earth." For a listing of the Ten Utterances, see Midrash Rabbah, Genesis 17:1; Pirkei D'Rabbi Eliezer 3.
