meals together with simple joy
Oh God, please give your shallom to that crew, that's your community you've planted there, you are our Captain, what you say we'll do.Please teach us to pray any -time, and -where.
So thank you for our houses and our clothes, and thank you for the meals we get to share, and people we can share your love with, thosewho you bring any - time and any - where.
And please bless those young Johnston's at their schools, and make them all a blessing where they go,then even if they're made to look like foolsthey'll trust you and they'll know that you must know.
Coz Jesus walked that path ahead of them -and all us "grown-ups" where we are as well. Thanks that you led the way and like our hen, called all your chicks to gather, to dispell
our fears and worries, all our mistrusts too;by being there yourself, at times of need, you're so creative, none are quite like you!And you let us grow faith like tiny seed
of mustard, or of eucalyptus tree,
that doesn't look a bit like final plant, for when it's gone and buried it can bea source of shade, an ecosystem rant! And thank you too for wisdom, when we've askedabout all your provision, and our part;discerning all you've gifted and you've taskedus with, I think it is a work of (he)art.
