trials.. formative assessments...

Be truly glad! When difficulties come.
For there is wonder-full-joy on ahead.
And even though you have to endure some,
well many try’ls for “little whiles”, they said. …

These tri-als prove your faith is gen-u-wine,
refined by “fire”, it is much more precious
than gold. So when your faith is strong - refined
through tri-als, it will bring you praise, much as

does glory and does honour come to those
good works of art, which also works of heart,
bring “oohs, and ahhs” from anyone who knows.
The artist has already made a start!

And when the artist is fine’ly revealed
to this whole world, his secret will be out!
He looked a peasant carpenter who kneeled
to help folk see, and then helped them through doubt!

And God has made right everything in time,
with beauty he has planned eternity
and put some in the human heart to rhyme
-  an echo of what we've heard but can't see.

So, ‘specially now, folk cannot see the whole
scope of Gods work from start-up to the end.
We understand not even our own soul,
what chance have we to grow to be God’s friend? -

unless we've seen a grown-up friend a child,
while hoping to receive nothing at all?
He said, "Don't worry, or let fears run wild.
The God you've trusted can also be  small!”

Be truly glad!!! There is wonderful joy ahead. Even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials prove that your faith is genuine, being refined by fire, your faith is more precious than gold. So when your faith remains strong through these trials, it will bring you much praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:6-7 (PM Version)

God has made everything beautiful in its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of Gods work from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 (PM Version)

Jesus said "Don't worry or surrender to your fear. For you've believed in God, now trust and believe in me also John 14:1 (PM Version)
