meeting up

God, we need your wisdom
(as well as you yourself)!
so that your great kingdom
grow stronger through our "wealth",

all of which came from you
(you are the source of us),
so that all that we do
will smell of that "Jesus" -

the one that you christened
the LEADER OF HUMANS,
as we look and listen,
lead us out of ruins.

God, give us wisdom please
in our interactions
coming, that meetings
won't lead to more factions,

but loving connection
of your children, & you,
under your protection
from everything not true.

Lead us into your light
of love and truth at once.
Oh that grace from you might
help us not act the dunce.

But "Ephatha*!" to you,
as well as each other,
that hearing, and speech too,
will open, not smother.

God we pray your blessing
upon our times each day, 
without double guessing
what it is you might say.

*Ephatha is Aramaic for "Open up", & Mark records it as one of 4 times when he quotes Jesus's actual (Aramaic) words, then translates them into common Greek for his Greek-speaking audience. See the end of Mark 7, where Mark hints at, but doesn't specify whether Jesus is commanding the man's - a) ears, b) tongue, c) neural (speech) pathways, d) whole being, towards God, or Jesus himself, or the man's household (to whom he is immediately sent by Jesus), or e) all of the above - to "Open up".
