"FAITH"

To understand this word, and what it meant,
since it is trusting someone-else’s word,
on something that is not self-evident
to you, at least; you trust because you've heard

a person who was in a place to know,
and also is quite careful what they say,
when they, or other evidence can show
you some state of the world or else some way

or method to achieve a certain “end”.
Since faith is a response to evidence,
where some may be just what you hear from friends;
since friendship is concerned with a defence,

and what is true and real, not just fake-news
(to win a battle, or achieve “your ends”),
it listens to the other when their views
are diff’rent, for that’s not what it depends

on to grow more of seeking highest good -
of this another person on the way
to growing as a baby god, as should
the "God of gods" 's own children, here today.

They say that faith today ..both slow and quick,
is being sure of what you still hope for.
It’s trusting evidence, and too logic,
till what you do not see, you know for sure.

Since One is calling us to higher lives,
we can not please some One without such faith,
we won't re-turn to our source, if we're lies,
we will not trust the wood within the laithe.
