The Lord, the God, is who (like mum does babe)
will from God’s body satisfy the thirst
of God’s small child, connected, un-afraid.
God needs not children, though self seems to burst!
God fills the hungry souls with all the good
they need, as babies fill after they’ve milked
their mums’ colostrum - antibodies should
help ev’ry little tyke, they way they’re built!
The Lord satisfies the thirsty, and fills the hungry soul with good things. Psalm 107:9 (PM Version)
