fix.. sticks..

We fix our eyes  not on what we can see
but on what is for us right now, unseen.
For what is seen now is temp-or-ar-y;
eternal things - those that have always been,

like Grace, and Truth, and Friendship you will find
are yet for us what's  counted  now "unseen".
Yet solid Love is patient, Love is kind,
it does not envy, boast, be proud or mean,

it dain't dishonour others, is not blind,
it is not self-seeking, eas'ly angered,
it joys in truth, in evil dain't delight,
& though it feels wrongs done, keeps no record.
  
And always it protects, & trusts, & hopes,
& perseveres - it keeps on & endures,
Love never fails. It never sits and mopes.
In it's concern for others, it's secure.
