How did you know?
Yes you are right;
he hear's somehow,
even at night,
or in the day-time,
or early morn.
flat-out when I'm
at work, or gone.
He's rescued me
so far at least.
Feel like those three*
who God released
freed from the rope,
and from the flame,
from the king's hope
and from "their shame".
Their attitude
somehow seems right
lived what they knew,
allowed God to "fight".
*Daniel's friends; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The King said..."... then who will rescue you from my hands?". They replied "Oh King, The God whom we serve is able to, but even if he chooses not to, know that we still won't bow down..."
