God, please give us wisdom
in our interactions
tomorrow, that connection
won't lead to more factions,
but loving connection
of your sons, & with you,
under your protection
from everything not true.
Lead us into your light
of love and truth at once.
And oh that your grace might
help us not be a dunce.
But "Ephatha!" to you,
as well as each other,
that hearing, and speech too
open between brothers.
God we pray your blessing
upon our time Friday,
without double guessing
what is it you might say.
