Creative love which made and keeps- on seas

You “get” the WORD of love, show its effect

upon the world, and how it gets expressed.

And if you make us able to reject

it, maybe we can welcome your heart’s best..

I think I start to see it, though admit

it’s in a mechanistic way, just now.

But I am trusting you more to make it

apparent in my life. Some way, some how.

You symbolise it with the word “KHESED*”

then give the meaning to that word by acts,

of keeping your own word, as though you’re wed.

You have Hosea demonstrate the facts.

You do your bit for centuries, and then 

millenia (a long time for us who

do only live a century), so when

we understand how faithful love might do

the work of moving this humanity

another step towards creator’s dream.

But best of all you give to folk who be

thus choosing under your authority,

more of the breath of heaven that they might

be prompted by creative love itself

still flowing through their being.. real good shite

that brings into existence a new health,

or way of being in this world where pain

is multiplied, instead of beauty, truth,

and loveliness. But his way brings again

some points of being, beings who are cooth.

D* - The word KHESED, used in the old Hebrew Bible (the bible Jesus used, quoted, lived out - and which his early disciples followed him in learning from, and modelled the gleaning of the meaning from the words) is often translated faithful love, eternal love, steadfast love, covenant love. Family love. It is contrasted with the actions of care that come from contractual love. And it is based on keeping not so much any general or particular word, with the exception of keeping one’s own word. So Yeshua says describing not so much a moral code, as a core trait or expression of this way of life: “Let your ‘Yes’, be (in fact, and mean, therefore) ‘Yes’.”. Not more, not less. In other words he is starting a revaluation of verbal communication. By people choosing their words carefully, then keeping themselves to their own word on any matter, they are being involved in the recreation of a universe, and more, in their ancient world-view - they included symbolism into the universe by calling it “the heavens and the earth”, and meaning the core principles by which everything is held together, and the fleshing out of those core realities in consistent expressions on/in  our allotted land(s).
