“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. [2] Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’...
[6] Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” (Psalms 126:1-2, 6 NIVUK)
Oh God, this psalm, I pray & say myself,
I felt it in dream somewhat last night,
for I was laughing gladly with my health-
y wife also right glad, and holding tight
though in that dream I don't recall us look-
King up to you. I do want to, you know
that that is true, at least somewhat (we shook
with gladness as a bride & groom do so),
because your very self, your presence is
within me here today, & in her too.
Please open up our wayward hearts to this
this patient waiting for you to come through!
This patient, waiting, wording things to you
(as honestly we live here) in the air,
so all the world can hear & learn what’s true,
and know whatever happens truth is there.
