An Annabelle*

Oh gift that brings, expresses beauty to

this world from God’s own heart to open up

the possibilities that could renew,

and even help to save from what’s corrupt.

Or better still to save from zombie like

impressions, motivations that subsume

the beauty and the truth of GOD, to spike

our drinks and take volition from the room;

unless it be to do the bidding of

some pow-er-ful controlling one who wants 

to have their will imposed, to be “king of” -

(not in your royal way as true response

to hesed°; loyal love, fidelity, 

a keeping of one’s word (so all can be

enabled & empow’r’d to choose, more free

within their growing possibility), 

but as a tyrant hoping to just see

their tiny will that doesn't have a view

of all the Universe, just one small “me”.

So this large world gets shrunk right down into 

a taking ‘stead of giving, and just bland,

no strains of beauty in both sight & sound.

I’m glad this belle, this beauteous gift’s been planned

by who has always been, & hangs around,

& will be in the future, coz this world

is emanating from his very mind,

and as his dreaming sees his flag unfurled

an Annabelle* is what we’re apt to find.
