Our friends, we must thank God at all times for
you - (ou-r gift from God), it's right to thank.
Your faith is growing so much, and what's more,
the love you have for each comes from his bank.
As int'rest grows, obedience that's fine
brings on delight, as does a sweetheart bride.
God's love intoxicates more than good wine;
is perfumed with more fragrance than can hide.
But God has shown us how much he loves us—
it was while we were still sinners that Christ
died for us! So we tolerate & fuss
about each other, fore-give each surmised
complaint, just as the Lord's for giving us..
For he gave us a new commandment: "Love
each other, as I loved you, so you must
love one another." - with love "from above".
From the beginning, the message we heard
was this: we must love one another. Don't
complain against each other (that's the word!)
my friends, so judgment from God, falling won't.
The Judge is 'near', & ready to appear,
"at hand" he is, and looks, know he can see.
Strive for perfection; listen, do not jeer,
& hear the word of God: learn to agree
with one another; live in his strong peace
The God of love and thriving, with you, will
be, as you say he is. Win all your praise
from him, not others. He will foot the bill.
