Be active, living, growing, running, "quick"
in list-en-ing and hearing, taking in,
what's freely given by a world that's sick
but all so beautiful since it has been.
As doctor's stethoscope can tell a lot,
about à person; or as telescope
can help one recognize what's true, or not,
about a moon of green cheese, or green hope.
As friend who sees & hears what's happening,
in life of person whom they are friend to,
by asking questions, sometimes rapp-en-ing
upon their door, and offering to do
what's helpful in the moment, and to "hear"
the deepest things about where they've come to,
sometimes despite their words. A friend who's near,
they say, is better than a brother who
is far .. a way .. to move t'ward life and hope;
begin, and keep on finding how things are,
with action, movement, that might help one cope,
along with serendipities so far.
Be slow in coming to the point of words,
and then see that my process of speaking
will let the other person show they've heard,
and let them plant some seed. We're gardening!
Be slow in angering, quite unlike Cain,
first Son of Adarm (male & female, both),
quite like the father of all flesh*, whose fame
is gracious, grieving, and keeping his trōth.
