He shows quite well how others use stories
to get their points across to us with ease,
but as for stories that can help us sneeze
the life of God on them, to infect these
with his quite potent life (that's in the breeze).
He seems to stop just short a bit - & freeze.
Oh help him God (& us), to learn from Gees-
-us' methods who has taught us not to wheeze,
but breathe deep of the breath of God (who sees!),
& speak on breathe (that is renewed from trees)
against the death that unclean spirits' fees
resultantly bring with them - so they please.
Let God's creative rhyme and poetry-s,

So Jesus said to them "Come to me, all
of you who are quite weary, with bent back,
from heavy loads, it is to you I call."
(as Lady Wisdom does to those who lack
the wisdom needed to negotiate
this world that's God's - who is "..the only wise".)
Good thing that "God is love" as well, I'd hate
to lack where he excells, lest he despise,
& treat me with contempt, & show me up,
but as it is he treats me as his child
who knows no better, he will grow me up,
he's willing to help, &, I think he smiled.
Then he said "I will give to you my rest"
(the kind of rest from "our work" that Jews have -
a Shabbat outcome, that is by God blessed,
that helps us better this world so to nav-
i-gate, for he will lead and open up
the way for those, who humble, can still learn;
he loves to knock, & then to sit and sup,
& share life with us, now it is my turn!
I want you Lord, to come right in and live

what does God want with us?
He wants me myself, & he wants my heart,
my core, & centre of all who I am.
Yet he wants the whole, & not just a part;
what's real, not appearances or a sham.
But what if reality's not that good?
- What if my heart's really small, tight, and mean?
So who would I go to? Who ever could
fix up my problem, or help me to clean..
..to clean up the inside, do that hard work.
What cleaning product? - or person to coach?
How can a small child, disabled, NOT shirk,
- or feel like something that's under reproach?
The short answer's: "I am amply supplied!",
- it holds more than you'd ever believe, so
I must go to "Creator" (who's inside -
as well as outside me) & then 'Let Go..
'Let God do God's bit, & plant the new seeds
of the "new me" he thought of, in compost,
trust him to cultivate, care for my needs,
& know with him that no good will be "lost".'
Our small minds (with hearts) must continue too,
to grow in wisdom, & understanding:
keep living with this God - father of you,
receive his wisdom - without demanding!
So yes, God wants friendship, but as our dad*,
he knows us, & knows that we need growing,
& sometimes there's growing pains to be had.
But God's also our mum* - & is "showing".
* using God's people Israel as a picture of his relationship with his new people, the new Israel:
“Listen to me, descendants of Jacob, all you who remain in Israel. I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. In order to become entirely his
it seems that I must welcome tests and trials,
expect to have to exercise patience,
and just continue on for metres\miles.
And also, we must bow before the God,
accepting where our lacking is displayed,
& ask him for his wisdom to have trod
where God is calling us - be not dismayed!
And when we come to trust what he has gi'en

It don't sound quite right, that "baby sitting"!
I guess it's ok for babies to do,
along with weeing, screaming, & *iting,
though when adults do "baby sitting" to
those little tiny baby boys and girls,
it conjures up some damage to them big,
like inner problems, not just hair that curls,
it's more like hair that falls out, then a wig!
* can stand for a combination of letters, or the letter 'b'.
