God's goodness gives, and is for giving.... reflected in praise, and general thanksgiving.

Oh you are, you are,
O God, you are good.
We can't see too far.
Maybe that's as should

be, but please help us
when we use our eyes
to see, and ea-ars
to hear; to surmise

truely, to discern,
then to be grateful
for good things given.
Not to be spiteful,

or take for granted
your goodness and love.
Cynically ranted
responses we'll shove

in with the rubbish,
so to be thrown out.
Then we'll refurbish,
since mind and words spout

whatever fills them
that's what will slosh out,
when something sudden-
-ly knocks things about.

So we look to you,
the source of all love,
and we say "Thank you",
and lift eyes above.
