Below are some thoughts ive just finished following through this evening, thinking of culture being transmitted through stories, & Gen 1-4... 20170820

Well once upon a time (when time was made),
a story that is mine and yours then bade...
(that's time and time again as it was told,
or acted in the shrine, in times of old)
...us recognize the longings in our heart.
The words put to a strong story impart
an understanding one may have of place
here under our old sun which shines its face
here on us all below, with light and heat,
the energies which go to make life sweet,
& yet it's just a sign to point us on,
a servant, & a mine to mine gold from.
Analogies were born with this whole world,
for it's a womb that's formed for children curled,
a nurs'ry that's been strewn with brilliant things
to shine as an old moon, & so it brings
enlightenment, if we live as we're meant
and act (along with see) to make unbent
the things that have been stuffed, and made go sour,
for his word is enough to mark "our hour",
& he it is who gave us jobs to do,
& thought to help us save and focus too
our energies and strength to live with skill
together, till at length we always will
live IN his love and walk with him each day,
unlike those two who balked and went astray!
- thus turn our desert into garden lush
by following his hints to tryst - so much!
