…….'s mum passed away last night. Please keep praying for her Dad and the rest of the family. …….'s siblings all got there to say goodbye before the end, I think.
We thank you God, for gifts you've poured on us
through your dear daughter's giving-ness and life
sent to this Earth, she also birthed, and fussed
to give with grace of Christ, as mother, wife,
and friendly face of Yackandandah bush,
teamed with her man, a partner in a team.
A team, teamed up with Yahweh God, then whoosh,
she's off, walking with God, to what she's dream-ed
and hoped for, soon a body like the Christ's
that's indestructible, with glory full,
will be her own. I think that will suffice.
The batton that she handed us we'll pull!
* Reminds me of a game of cricket, played well. Also of Aslan's call "Higher up, and further in!"
