There's something in that thing a good mate said
about how he had looked at some hard times:
when someone made complaint, from how they read
his words and actions, in a way that rhymes
with their own practice of rorting the sys-
tem, double dipping or some stuff like that.
And my mate didn't 'specially like that his..
his reputation was besmirched. They spat
on him, & then complaining that his serv-
ice was quite rude (or less than what is good),
put pressure on him. They had quite the nerve.
But he said to us, as one only could
amongst his fam'ly/ friends where life is shared,
that maybe this was part of answered prayer:
that he might grow to be more bold, not scared
of people - what they'll think, yet really care
for truth, and what creative love would see,
and trust that view more than all options, so
he'd live his life in (creativity
that comes from) love, and trust to who does know!
And I see that interpreting like that,
instead of just reacting in defense,
does here display life from above, no pat
phrase with our 'normal' ways of living, hence
it is a sign of "Kingdom come" to Earth;
from home of all that's real and true and wise.
A 'smell' of who's in process of re-birth,
although one might not see through some disguise.
Beloved, I urge you as aliens and exiles to abstain from the desires of the flesh that wage war against the soul. Conduct yourselves honorably among the gentiles, so that, though they malign you as evildoers, they may see your honorable deeds and glorify God when he comes to judge. For it is God’s will that by doing right you should silence the ignorance of the foolish. As servants of God, live as free people, yet do not use your freedom as a pretext for evil. For it is a commendable thing if, being aware of God, a person endures pain while suffering unjustly. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps. When he was abused, he did not return abuse; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but he entrusted himself to the one who judges justly. 1 Peter 2:11-12, 15-16, 19, 21, 23
Therefore, let those suffering in accordance with God’s will, entrust their lives to a faithful creator, while continuing to do good. 1 Peter 4:19
