These little ones are lucky I would say,
with Mums and Dads they'll have, with cousins too,
and Uncles, Aunties, fam'ly friends who'll pay
attention to them, and Grandparents who
will wish and think, & pray for them to sing,
be blessed as much as Jeaus blessed his kids.
We bless them by the God above all things,
by mythic sky that teases our own lids
to try to see much further up above,
and ev'ry night will help us slow and rest,
may they in fam'lies learn of your great love,
before they're even asked to pass their tests.
The blessing of their sun and moon above,
be poured upon these little ones to grow
towards maturity, when wooed, not shoved.
They blessing of the rain, may they well know!
