on this day...

Well, Happy Birthday! So many - don't burst!
I'm glad you're born. And sometimes I still tell
of running from my school, home, to be first
to see my baby brother, fit and well.

I think you cried (I didn't mind at all).
I learned the Davies, and too Aunty Ol',
had beat his very brother (that young Paul),
in welcoming you home to God's (ol' world).

And I am glad to know we share it still
(though often times we don't connect a lot).
We're trusting God (who longs) to help (- still will),
that's whether we can see him yet or not,

and in the places we are put, we'll learn
to love, instead of shove, our way about.
God help us in our plight to make the turn
as Earth still daily spins, & does not flout

its track around the sun, and thus receives
as well as day & night, the seasons too.
To change analogy, may we grow leaves,
no, rather may we bear his kinds of fruit!

Ohhhh yes. So what is growing here in God's
new garden plot, what kinds of twists and turns,
the twisted carrots and the turnips, odd-
bods come along, 'til this season adjourns?

It's like he will work with us, where we're at.
I want to plant appropriate stuff which
will work along with him in bringing that
which furthers his good rule, without a hitch!

And you my brother, walkers both we are -
"Oh God, we want to walk with you as well;
where-ever you would take us, near or far,
may that be where your will is done 'gainst "hell"!

We set ourselves, oh God, on side with Heaven,
that we might be extensions here on Earth
of God's will being done (bit like leaven),
to here infect the land of our first birth."

Even the strong and the wealthy grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue The Lord will never lack any good thing.  Psalm 34:10 (PM Version)
We are coworkers with God and you are Gods cultivated garden, the house he is building!! 1 Corinthians 3:9 (PM Version)
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:18 (PM Version)
Those that received him, that believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God! John 1:12 (PM Version)
