Hannah & Gil start(ed) marriage this day

Gilbert A. S. E. H. Walker + Hannah L. Sunderland.

Welcome to Hannah as a "God-daughter" (from a failed God-father), and now as a daughter by marriage. Thus "Hannah, welcome to the Walker family!"

This wedding has been a bit like a birth! waiting, hopeful, quiet, anticipating, cheering, celebrating! Then all the real work starts! and today has been kind of like a birthday party, hasn't it?


I'm calling the invisible, mysterious, mythical[1], creature that each human comes from, and which is being born today, a "tuman".


What's been said before,
may stand a repeat,
today will be born
a tuman complete..

Complete don't mean finished;
more "IT'S LIFE IS THERE",
which may be diminished,
but under Good's care.

Hannah and Gil    
have their wedding today.
And they both "I will",
then learn a new way.


A new way of living
letting love grow.
Hence birthday giving,
'n' some pain they'll know.

A new way of living
their flag is unfurled,
may be that they're giving
new life to the world..

don't mean a small child,
(though maybe as precious),
a tuman is wild
and with myth it meshes!

children don't start
from two adults you see,
they come from god's heart,
and one tuman free...

A tuman survives[2]
on love for some months;
but wow it sure thrives
if it breathes more than once!

Under dreams greater;
to die to our dreams,
and trust our creator
wherever that leads.

That's Jesus' teaching
from which these two start;
this tuman is reaching
right into God's heart..

not just his mind, though
think that will come too,
as they learn how loves go
and what loves will do.

My myth maybe misses
a real thing or two.
Real Miss become Mrs.
Walker; we welcome you!

[1]  mythical; not in a put-down sense of simply an un-historical tale, but in the anthropological sense of a story that carries meaning for us.
[2] one may not survive for lack of bread & water, but one may also not survive for lack of Oxygen.
