Hallelujah! I agree
I do believe he's making me
Through the tiresome stuff of life
I'm learning to still trust in strife

For through the sorrow and the pain
he has a way of bringing gain
He has a way of molding me
Though I would shudder, moan and plead

That he would set a lower goal
Than making me completely whole
But he will cease at nothing less
Than his enchanting righteousness

And thank the Lord he's gentle too
He knows that to be born anew
I'll need to fail more times than few
