Oh God, please bless ol' mate with true mate-ship,
fair dinkumness relating round about;
please pour them into his life, not to slip
out quickly, but refreshed from good work-out
may he be better as he rests, in mind
& body too, may life's reality
be more his own, as he is what it finds.
And not just him, please do the same in me!
