Oh Lord there's still this trait'rous way in me,
that's tuned to other people, and is hooked
on having good I've done affirmed and seen,
and bad things just ignored, or overlooked.
It's trait'rous 'coz instead of looking straight
to you, the God of gods, from whom all GOOD*
has come to us, before, but too of late,
I focus on the foreground as one would
who knew no better. But I'm not that one,
at least in theory. Now I want to know
in my experience, both sad or fun,
just how to celebrate what good you grow
within this world of yours with joy that's full
as Jesus showed us how to do that time*;
that God revealed his love & power to pull,
or call folk out with news, reason, and rhyme.
This rule of God, is not at heart a "rule",
though truly that will be, where need exists*,
for his own child is not a cipher-fool,
obedient deeds are born as love insists*.
So here I am again, I'm at your call.
I'll listen to his voice and heed his words*,
and posit to him motivations all
in line with logic*, but I'll bury turds*.
To let you walk within this camp and see,
whatever you would like to as the one
who's sourced all love that ever has here been*.
So now I know your process has begun!

Why do you call me good?’ Jesus answered. ‘No-one is good – except God alone.
Mark 10:18 NIVUK

Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, ‘Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?’ ‘Why do you ask me about what is good?’ Jesus replied. ‘There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.’ Matt. 19:16-17 NIVUK
At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, ‘I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. ‘All things have been committed to me by my Father. No-one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no-one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.’ Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, ‘Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.’ Luke 10:21-24 NIVUK
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:2 NIVUK
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, ‘Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ Matt. 8:10-12 NIVUK
… so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.. John 14:31 NIVUK
After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, ‘Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters – one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.) Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: ‘This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!’ Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus. Mark 9:2-8 NIVUK
But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Saviour, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. Titus 3:4-8 NIVUK
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:.. Phil. 2:3-5 NIVUK
Do not be terrified by them, for the Lord your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.
Deut. 7:21 NIVUK

Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement. For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21 NIVUK
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,.. Deut. 10:12 NIVUK
