Watching a class of adults hard at work, regular teacher was away but had left work... wow did they work! In August, 2014

Look down and see connections, that you'll trace

like paintings at a party that aren't hurled,

but care-full-y put on, upon the face

of children who have come with bigger folk

as though you're there yourself, they'd also trace

an image with their painting, or a joke!

I feel like a face painter, drawing on

the Universe's face - as a small child

who's come with her own "Daddy", when she's gone

the party he's preparing will be wild!
