Katrina turns 49+1

[Sunday 16 Sept, slightly after 2 in the afternoon.]

Katrina’s got   this fella’s
eye, but ten hours   time (not more!)
you prob’ly know   as well as
I, she turns ten  & two score[1].

She’s not too jealous:
for I’ve (just ten years before)
been intimately zealous
with a 40 year old. “Whore!”..

..an other woman yell(er)s,
but my Katie, she’s not “sore”.

She’s one of those excel-ers

who just keep on; and then more.

Katrina’s put a stella
season into soccer for
a Westside team (no fellas)
- & trained, & pained, & scored!

My wife; and Annabella’s
mum, & many others’ more:
Sam. & Soph., and Mill. & Gil.,
Hannah, and friends,   she’s “Mum” FOR! 

At times she’s had   her “hell”, as  
many do (&    have before)

when roses lose   sweet smell, as
mechanism  “takes the floor”,

but  Katrina’s   as swell as
a girl gets &   that’s for sure!
A 16yr. old gel is
my girl, & I - don’t want more!
 
[Monday 17th. (continued from the day before)]

Today the bank-ing tellers
who tally each    new day for
God’s children – girls      and fellas-
click over one    decade more..

..that’s of Katrina Ellen’s
life. But we won’t say “Oh, cor!”
“Half a Cent’ry”! No sellers
of things, to colour your..

..life from insipid yellows,
will be allowed in the door!
Not to just loll on pillows -
the goal is worth going for!

Katrina(’s) like(s) rosellas,
which are fruit; or birds  that “Caw”.
The fruit’s as tart as hell is
hot[2], the bird’s are beautiful!
