Oh God, how do I walk with you in learn-

-ing how to help the people whom you love,

while some are also close to fire that’s burn-

-ing, & that’s likely to be caught or shoved..

that’s shovelled onto those who come close up

(& anyone who aids them must come close).

I see the problem, but because the cup

you share with us, connects us to a dose

of you, yourself, your probiotics too,

the scent that’s on the breath you sent for life

to be sustained in us, you’re like trees who

breathe out the oxygen that we need rife,

then they can keep on making food and fuel,

from our breathed CO² which then they use.

This ecosystem thing need not be tool

of selfish-gene, it might just be confused.

I want to be accepting of good pay,

(& be a workman worthy of it too).

But not be ikey, charging all the way

for what can be got through this oppor-chew

-nitty that’s nitty gritty stuff alive,

well spoken of, as we seek grace and peace,

where peace means true Shalom (which means to thrive)

And grace makes graceous, and brings sweet release…

To be about my Father’s business in

this day, while we know that you like to do

this kind of thing, that smells like a nest in

the land where we now live, right here with you!
