Yes! Blest are you our God, Yahweh,
the one who IS, is in all ways;
the Emp'ror of the Universe,
the Maker of the Hea’ens and Earth,
who opens up the lids of eyes,
& draws shut bright blue curtained skies,
who opens up each mind and ear
to focus, and use well, not fear.
Thank you for all the sleep we’ve had,
on waking up to you, we’re glad!
Yes,
Yes!
Version 3; Link to Draft1 Audio Recording of version 2 of this song.
An idea that came Sat morning (10/10/2026) over coffee at a friends’ place... (It felt like it needed to be nurtured to birth? - one example is now above):
In line with those Jewish prayers Jesus prayed... Getting a (or a couple of) simple, short, heart warming, truth speaking prayer(s) to start us off on any given day to pray in bed as we get up, or in the lounge, or at breaky together. Then every family or household group have a go at putting it to a chant, or a Karta, or a song, ( i.e. adding a dimension to it), so that we end up with 7 or 10 usable versions between us, to help us set our hearts at the start of the day, with some choice and variety built-in (after we learn each other's versions).
After that, we could work on one for the time before we are about to fall into the unconsciousness of sleep. (here is an offering towards that end too) … etc...
