I need not ever fret again, or fear..
& I may enter the most holy place
behind this Universe for heaven’s near
to any child of GOD - for GOD’s own ways
declare that this is so. And heaven’s court
will move aside to let his precious child -
an embryo, or foetus who is taught
by spirit of the HOLY GOD, his wild
yet stately words make promises to keep;
his word is binding, ‘coz he binds himself..
For human male & female in love’s deep
embrace, do both display some greater health
of personhood, and image - or show off
the nature of this being who made all
that is - as we may dream a world, then cough,
and yet be quite affected by love’s call.
So you can teach me how love also does
a bunch of things about the house or home.
And I will learn from you the business, buzz
of many projects yet not really roam ..
and never fret or fear because love's way
will overcome, and is not ended quick.
It’s so creative that words cannot say
or hope to give the taste of life un-sick.
Oh taste and see yourself… is all I’ll call
to others that I meet around the traps.
I s'pose I can tell news, and stories fall
on ears in ways that seem to fill in gaps.
And I won’t fret or worry anxiously.
If I need help I’ll boldly ask for it,
and trust who will know better, and then see,
& learn to do what I can, and to fit
within the space I have in ways that show
skill and the wonder of the human race.
A fam’ly of creative love, that knows
more than machine’ry can (for it can’t face
the future with imagination, as
we can with all the gifts we have inside,
as well as with the outside gifts, pizazz
and glory, honour, his Life will provide.
Notes:
LORD, I have given up my pride
and turned away from my arrogance.
I am not concerned with great matters
or with subjects too difficult for me.
[2] Instead, I am content and at peace.
As a child lies quietly in its mother's arms,
so my heart is quiet within me.
3Israel, trust in the LORD
now and for ever!
“..For God will reward every person according to what each has done. 7Some people keep on doing good, and seek glory, honour, and immortal life; to them God will give eternal life. (Romans 2:6-7)
“You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. [10] But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. [12] So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. [13] For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. [14] For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. [15] For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” [16] The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, [17] and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. [18] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. [19] For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. [20] For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope [21] that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. [23] And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. [24] For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? [25] But if we hope for what we do not see, we settle down to wait for it with patience. (Romans 8:9-25)
