You do what should right now be being done,
and do not worry, frettingly concerned
about what should be done ahead when some
event is due, or might come, you have learned.
Best preparation for important things,
is just to do important things before
in small un-noticed moments when one sings
or brings to mind the purpose you’re here for.
Or lifts the head and lets wonder or awe
affect you, and let gratefulness well up
which causes acts that transform Earth and more,
to little bits of heaven. Small erup-
-tions, which have warmth of Heaven’s Sun in them,
and make the cold bits hab-it-able when
it is a bit cold otherwise to stay.
Or when it is too hot, provide some shade.
So now is just one time to start this trail,
just one step here begun, makes less to do,
and when no-one’s about, you do not fail -
in fact you can get further sometimes, too.
So what’s the purpose for you to exist?
What reason were you sent to Earth by God?
Creative love itself can clearly list
the two big things worth doing that you've got:
And when it comes to God; good Dad & Mum
are prob’ly the best pictures that you’ve got:
they want you to learn what to do with some
set-up like you have, and then too, have not.
So mostly they’re just saying enjoy life,
get out and play at what you’d like to do.
They only give commands to save some strife,
or help you grow, so you can see this through.
And God is even more than best parent.
He speaks to set clear boundaries, and bless..
The great commands that Jesus repeated°
are mostly to help bring more lovliness.
The will of God* for all his kids (in Christ)
is just the kind of thing to take and learn
to do it well, & “listen up”, suffice
to say, “Enough!”, then it will be your turn…
(to be a parent to some new-borns and to learn from him how to encourage to flame, not to snuff-out a smoldering wick)
+ “When they bring you to be tried in the synagogues or before governors or rulers, do not be worried about how you will defend yourself or what you will say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” (Luke 12:11-12 GNBUK)
° “Jesus answered, “The most important is: ‘Listen, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31 NET
“Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in my love. If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. My commandment is this – to love one another just as I have loved you. (John 15:9-12 NET)
* 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 GNBUK
Be joyful always, pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.
