Prologue: See Reconciliation (i)
Oh halleluyah! GOD, please help your own
to own your great forgiveness & hold on
to purposes they've set, and to atone
for failures of the faith of others yet
to hold themselves with grace from you (the ONE),
to still continue faithful to the end,
while trusting who is bigger who's begun
this whole she-bang and who made up all friend-
ship, AND is leading us in suff'ring long
(oh GOD, we humans run from this so much).
We see your brand New Human, meek, yet strong,
and always want to be, to stay, in touch.
So thank you for your spirit's staying pow'r,
your presence with your people in our pain,
your love, that is enfolding us just now,
your re-creative energies again!
