Surprise … at SunRise!

The facts, as just phenomena*, can say

a lot, so we can honestly join in,

as part of the phenomena, that way 

the least can still participate .. and win…

A father’s plan for kids around the world

to call them on, and out, and to his arms,

that’s built on keeping his own word, unfurled 

with hopes of true allegiance, not by “charms”

that make his kids be good - he wants their love - 

(true sharing as they grow up, and learn trust).

And if they’ll trust creative love above

all others, they will grow up, as they must.

They’ve been designed as hemispheres of brain

are made to work together, though right’s “boss”

and has the veto powers -if things came

to that. Without the mind of God, we're lost.

To keep our word goes with the gift of speech,

which we can tie together with what’s real;

That’s what will grow us up, as group, & each,

to be a new humanity. No steal-

ing, but a gladsome sharing of what’s ours

to help another out, in theory/ fact.

So myth comes into being through these powers

of KHESED love that’s lived out in each act.

This is the work of artists who will see

creative options, not more  rules explained.

And each of us is artist, yes, we be

a tiny “baby god”, not just in name!

a* - instead of deconstructing every occurrence, in the light of scientific materialism, to only consider the questions posed by scientific materialism: “How is it made?” and “How does it work?”; to let our selves be affected by the lived experience of each occurrence as a phenomena (that will be interpreted through something like the ancient world-view questions: “What does it mean?” & “What spiritual truth does it embody?”. So we still refer to the degree of turning of the Earth from the point where sunlight is not experienced, to the point where the sun is wholly above the horizon, with the phenomenal description of “Sunrise”,  not a more ‘correct’ “Solar-disclosure-Earth-turn” which is correctly interpreting and referring to the event through the lens of knowledge gained through scientific materialism.
