Sam, I'm sitting here, but know my "big boy"
is taking (both) our Father's family tree
and learning to much better there employ
the fam'ly ways of being that we see...

about us in his world sometimes around
the place, as we see likenesses of him,
& mostly in young Yeshua we found,
or more who found us out, & brought us in.

And he was not a trickster, who deceived, 
& "led us on", as Jacob 'was want to'.
He showed us how to be folk who believed,
& lived by what he saw his Father do.

O God we're immature, where we are now.
There's much we can not see, but we can trust,
like he did as he looked around about
and asked you for your wisdom, as he must

have done, since Luke said that he grew in it,
& James (his brother) told us what to do
when life showed us our lack: to first admit; 
& after that Look Up to the source who

saw us as bairns whom he would help to grow
[but in this case the present that he gave
could not be left upon the shelf - you know,
for it's a living thing (like pup). To save

it for a rainy day, not interact
& feed and get to know it at the time
would be the kind of thing (& here's a fact)
that misses out, and is worse than a crime].

So here we are, these babies* set to grow,
(so in this sense, don't think that you're adult)
& in this womb-world there's enough to show
us how to move ahead, not be a dolt!

But that's not saying there won't be much pain
and grief, for we have death within this womb,
so look to him, & then look back again,
for those who come alive, it's not a tomb.

So this, the start of all the new life here
(as child within the womb's still in the world),
yet things are not quite as they do appear,

Give thanks to God Almighty who just IS,
for He is good (& from him all good comes)
his attitude t'ward us is "We're his kids".
His "hesed" faithful love cleans up our bums,

but then continues on with all our cries,
& wees, & peukes, & immaturities,
his faithful love endures forever, wise!
And it is right to thank him for all these.

But then those other times come to our lives:
we ask for help to feel his blessedness
but only get more grief & deeper sighs,
till we learn how to mourne, ... & also bless.

When then you act, and also lift the load,
by bringing on your joy, even down here..
our thanks become a celebration mode
& all we want to do, is jump and cheer!

So in the end, as Paul said to some friends,
in every circumstance good will be there
already, else it's on it's way (which wends
about a bit, - as seen from on our chair).

If our part in this great game is to see
the good that is around*, we'll need some eyes,
for that matter we'll need for us to be
alive, no matter what's our starting size.

Then we'll look back to the source of the good
(especially what has benefitted folk),
and thanks will be the starting place that could
lead on to other responses. No joke!

trust or bust

The Lord is the eternal God, & he's
creator of all of the earth & seas,
(& sky above, & heavens round about
- dimensions that are filled with friend and lout:

the angels, drones, botts, worms, exploits, & mals,
the micro, macro, heavy particles
& light that waves & rays, & ra-di-ates
with alpha, beta, gamma as its mates,

& demons, spirits, winds, & attitudes,
that influence the culture & the dudes
(& dude-esses, in diff'rent ways of course).
And he knows all about the Trojan Horse.

He never grows weak, wearies, like atoms,
his understanding no one else fathoms.
And he gives power to weak & baseless things,
and too protects his chicks under his wings.

He set up life and growth - development,
delights to strengthen powerless, that's his "bent".
And so he'll be my rock, and also strength,
and saviour of me now, & then at length!

And so as Jesus taught, I'll "keep pray-ing"
recalling that he's present in my brain,
an invocation to this world within
where I have some control - to conquer sin

(that virus of the soul that causes death).
He added "don't give up", with baited breath.
So I will take advice from one who knows,

My Father, & my God & King, my Hope,
I feel so hollow & so lacking love.
How do you do what's needed to fill up
a skin that's hollowed or that's stuffed with shoved

compulsive things, that  maintain or protect
a self that's weak and pow'rless to do good.
I s'pose I don't need to know (or suspect),
as much as see & recognize what stood

in front of me (that's even in the past
when time was needed, so to re-a-lize,
put two & two together), so at last
I'd vote for good and act, not paralysed

forget to see, & fearfully give up,
or quivering be helpless in God's space.
And even now recalling that, abrupt-
-ly brings me into quite another place.

And when I start to thank the source of all
the goodness that I've had to do with here,
it doesn't matter that I feel appalled,
for still I get his "Peace" when he comes near.

The plan..

How blest are those who make peace, for they will
be called God's children, & not just his pets.
Who has his surname, he calls his people,
if they will humble themselves and pray, let

his face be what they seek more than pleasure.
If they turn from their wicked ways, God planned
he'd hear from heaven (where they'll store treasure)
forgive their sins, and what's more, heal their land.

Did you know Jesus was a master build-
er, not just "carpenter" who worked with wood?
And God seemed to like what he saw fulfilled
in all his life of caring (as he could)

for fatherless and widows in distress,
and keeping himself free from this world's ways,
& God helped him to even make a mess
of many temple rit-u-als those days.

When Jesus said that he  would build his 'church',
he didn't mean a building made of stone,
or zombies centred on themselves who lurch
to play within red-tape with  sins 'atoned'.

'Ecclesia'* of "Legislative-" kind,
"-Assembly" of the people who can lead
in God's own way that loves, but is not blind,
Yeshua said against hell will succeed, ...

"and I will give the keys of Heaven to
the children who will live under my rule.
Whatever they permit, is what we'll do,
whatever they forbid will not be cool!

Well men, I love the way that our friendship
has been a gift from God - to everyone...
We're blessed to be a blessing. You're a chip
of the ol' block. Like father, so like son.

As Jesus said, when you don't know quite what
the Father's like, then "open up" your eyes,
& ears, and mind, to people and to GOD,
& you will see (though he'll be in disguise).

[For in this current world with bodies (these),
we can't see God (it's just the way it is)
for God's not just our maker- "He who sees",
he's both our FATHER/MOTHER, we are his

children, whom he loves to bless and nourish.
Yet there's a sense in which we "ain't yet born",
His heart is close to ours, & we flourish
when our small hearts stay close to his, not torn

away from his (as in an abortion/
miscarriage before finally our "time"
has come to be born to a bigger portion, 
our bodies changed, though they'll still seem to "rhyme".]

And when we come right through our pain-ish birth
with all disguises truly ripped away
we'll see him like we couldn't on this earth,
but until then, as Jesus had to say:

"If you've seen me, then you've the Father seen",
he's helped us see the heart of God above,
but also hidden in the smallest, mean
-est human, is our chance to show God's love.*

The fear of something good, is as it should.. The fear of somethimg less is quite a mess!

The fear of Yahweh starts the physics for
a place where life can grow that's from above.
It brings a gravity, some call a "law",
or more "direction", so we can learn love.

Which lets our earth be able to receive
the seed that's come from up above - to grow
beyond the earth into that space where weaves
the winds of wisdom, breath of life, to know

and enter into what will create life.
This centre, basic tenet, gives all this,
a sanity that cuts through like a knife,
& lets you walk around and learn "pistis"

(that's faithfullness - in Greek, the common tongue
milenia ago when "Jesus" walked)
that let's the faithful seed grow (ever young)
in ways that this dear gravity uncorked.

And so it's said "the fear of Yahweh is
the start of wisdom", it is "first things first",
but after that, God's foolishness shows his
ol' topsy turvy world, till fit to burst

we're likely to be lying on the floor,
in fits of laughter, or of reverie,
the "Only Wise" has other names, what's more
to do with truth & love that sets folk free!

So now you might see what a dangerous trap,
t'would be to fear reflections more than Him,
you wouldn't know your "up" or "down" - you'd snap!
But trusting your Creator's glad (& grim).

Oh God this here is why I am so sad.
Some brothers who shared caravan, or room,
& life with me, have turned their noses up
at my life, & have walked away again.

Yet I am made to build community.
And my "life" is much bigger than my "self";
it's even like a "person" here with me,
but more than any ghost, or any elf.

And yes it's true that I am enamoured,
& too enabled, by this "loving one".
It's like a good marriage where two people
lose sight of self, this unit which now lives

with a different "life", or kind of being,
(polluted air, though, quickly can kill it)....
Yet real friendship has a way of seeing,
in later years; the question now's "Will it?".

But whether that occurs or not, we'll see.
Still my job is to let love do its thing
right here within this person who is "Me",
and NOT "adulterate", or start shrinking

down to the kind of life that won't befriend,
that won't respond to love when it shows up,
though I can't make them love me in the end,
I can let love love through me, like a pup.

I'm learning that this sadness has a place,
& I am not "like God", if I don't grieve.
So if it will hurt them, - don't show my face.
God, do your thing, & "resurrection" weave!

8 weeks until the "Celebration in the heart weekend" it starts Friday 14 July- all are welcome. Please pray also for the community of Ali Curung- there is unrest at the moment and the community needs our prayers. (It is unlikely the cross will go up this year with the current situation in Ali Curung) We believe it still will be a great weekend of fellowship, sharing and worship. God bless you. the "Celebration in the Heart Weekend".
Please use it to fill YOUR folk with new wine;
that their skins, and their structures will all wend

(that's under your influence Holy Wind,
or Holy Breath that breathes the holy life,
or Holy Spirit which has never sinned)
towards the flexibility of "wife",

or mother with babes, or of children small,
whose lives are living under love's choices.
So may we flex to hold love's wine installed
within these skins, instead of loud voices

of protest - that we are being summoned
to follow Christ (though we have done no wrong!)
Although on Good Fridays - all are welcomed.
We pray also for all Ali Curung -

where there's unrest this moment. Hear our prayers.
(May all your people take up their crosses
on each day of the year which they find theirs)
Oh may't be a great weekend though losses

may still be real, for that man of sorrows
will still be there, with his acquaintance - Grief.

not as prize to bribe us but as "birth-right".

faith full love

Well God who's faithful has invited you 
to fellowship with His son, Jesus Christ
-the Leader of Humanity- so do
not let your heart be set on just what's "nice".

But set your heart on Gods kingdom and His
goodness, which is seen through ecosystems
(unless we will deny that such good "is")
he'll see your time on Earth reflects his plans.

His children know God's care and sustenance
as babies know their mother's milk each feed.
His love is patient, kind, & not jealous,
or boastful, proud or rude to those in need. 

Neither does it dishonour another. 
It won't irrate, or keep a list of wrongs,
nor delight in injustice that smothers
or evil, for this Love rejoices long 

whenever truth wins out - it celebrates.
This Love of which I speak takes it's chances,
it never becomes faithless, always waits,
it hopes, endures through all circumstances.

Don't live for why this world is now winking,
but do allow this God to change your thoughts
(more your whole world-view & way of thinking,
each comes with built-in  start-points, & some oughts).

This will empower you to discern Gods will
for you will see things & love as he does.
Your life will more reflect God then, untill
he's satisfied, for your growth seen from love's

own vantage point knowing the whole journey,
enjoying the whole trip, the fellowship,
will seem more beautiful at each turning,
till "perfect in His eyes" is quite the quip!

Learning Love

There is no fear in Love itself, just as
in water   oil will not reside too well.
For pure Love expels all fear that has
well, somehow hung around like a bad smell.

And Jesus said "Keep praying, don't give up".
If you can trust another, trust in God.
If any child has ever trusted love,
then you can learn to tread where Jesus trod..

For knowing & then trusting living love
is not a picnic in the park always
(or else it is, when rain comes from above,
we get to choose for joy in any place).

And you're a child of God, if joined to Christ,
with life that's like his own, & not zombie.
His antidote is passed on in a tryst,
& we can grow as he grew. Here, watch me!

Then he was moved, compassion for them felt,

Then He said to his men "a cropping farm
has just come into harvest. It's peppered
with yields that could make workers' backs be harmed.

But oh I tell you workers who will work,

So "God in heaven, help us not to shirk,
& send us out to gain the victory!

Please send out workers to just bring right in
that harvest that is yours from your good land
(your "crop" is your children who are frightened,
& you are able to help them to stand)!

Than Q! Better to give thanks where due, than queue all my arguments.

Give thanks to one who's conduited some good
towards you -'stead of not passing it on -
for choices have been made (you've understood
each time you've shared the Love of Life along;

& if you haven't, I dont think I trust
your estimation of your motives past.
But if you really haven't,  catch this gust
of wind that's blown up now to be a blast.)

Though none can really "tell" you what to do,
unless you're still a babe, or growing up,
I've found a well "told" story  start to woo,
& give direction, start me thinking "Yup,

that's what I want to do.." & set a course.
Somehow the story gives to me a "nerve"
(invisible links/ pathways that no corpse
can use to feel, or make a graceous curve).

Which leads me then to thinking of the source,
behind the good that I have just received,
a line of wisdom, & love that won't force,
that has been hiding, till it is believed.

And not just "trusted blindly", but with mind
(then fully trusted, and then acted on).
With one who loves, this kind of trust you'll find
grows as a seed in deep soil. It grows strong.

And maybe that's the start of striking well:
just thanking for the goodness and the love.
This saves me from my everlasting hell:
