This last 30 hours
has hastened, flown fast,
hain't been no showers,
but "changed", & "recast";
Customs, & x-rays,
& back in our seat
(even the same place),
the service replete
with warmed face-cloths,
smiling hostesses,
exotic sounds - lots,
foreign excesses.
Yet the same Father,
& all these his kids,
I would not rather
another, I'm hid
here in his household
("people" make "places"),
& may I be bold
(though don't know faces)
to see his likeness
(though many are dead
in This World's cycles
of decay that's led
to where we are now;
Love - hardly knowing,
but too with somehow
a hunger growing
- not just to fill "self",
but help real-ize
Love's undying health
- that looks past these skies)
So I'll "look out of"
all these things I see
to what God's proud of,
through windows round me.

unstoppable helper - in love
I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from Gods love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Romans 8:38 PMV

Love's wine & bread. Choo chew, who-oo-oo'll, drink deep? Not just fools!
I’ll come and get you guys from Leipzig Haupbahnhof (train station) then we can head to my place for lunch. How does it sound?
It sounds all a bit wonderful!
It sounds all a bit wonderful!
Hope to see you, before week's up!
That's this Katrina & this Paul,
to meet the newly-weds. God's cup
is lovely wine, that brings good health,
at times bitter medical stuff
killing cancer. Enhancing wealth,
lasting riches. He'll be enough!
If that wine helps you to speak free
hide no secrets, be generous;
it all depends on "company"
that you keep & that keeps you fresh!

Lessons from the last week or two...
Isa 50:4-8a The Sovereign Lord has given me a disciplined (discipled) tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen as a disciple. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away. I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting. Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. He who vindicates me is near. … Isaiah 50:4-8a (combining insight from NIV & Henri Bloché) http://bible.com/111/isa.50.4-8.NIV
Mark 7:30-35 Jesus then left the neighborhood of Tyre and went on through Sidon to Lake Galilee, going by way of the territory of the Ten Towns. Some people brought him a man who was deaf and could hardly speak, and they begged Jesus to place his hands on him. So Jesus took him off alone, away from the crowd, put his fingers in the man's ears, spat, and touched the man's tongue. Then Jesus looked up to heaven, gave a deep groan, and said to the man, “Ephphatha,” which means, “Open up!” At once the man was able to hear, his speech impediment was removed, and he began to talk without any trouble. Then Jesus ordered the people not to speak of it to anyone; but the more he ordered them not to, the more they told it. And all who heard were completely amazed. “How well he does everything!” they exclaimed. “He even causes the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak!”

A brother’s fortnight of learning to be more open with God, that has led to being broken, but blessed.
God, I hear from this brother
that you have been at work:
glad that his Father/ mother
listen and then don't shirk.
You his (Mother and) Father
have good dreams for him too,
and as a hen will gather
it chicks under wings. You
like that man, Son of Adam,
who like a little kid
would scurry to his dad ‘n
copy everything he did,
and look for his approval
and know He would be pleased;
his first job was removal
of ignorance (he “sneezed”
his eyes to Heaven, groaning,
his open heart believed
and trusted God's atoning
life to be enough, he breathed
openly, and then said it
“Ephatha” (which was code
for) - “Open up!” We’ve read it
fast - what if it was slowed
down? - and then we “heard” the word
(and all Creation too!)?
Ears and tongues and (quite absurd)
neural pathways laid new(!)
and a heart that “opened up”
to God's message to it;
take it in (and not pass up),
reflect, not eschew, it!

Presently… turn your problems into boxes..
One
is… make the boxes (put work into these, not that kind of “no work”, but
creative energies).
Two
is.. tip your problems into them, complete. Might be what you thought of, but might not be so neat.
Three
is give them all away (this could be a meaning of that “Boxing Day”) to someone
who would appreciate the gift, for whom they won’t be problems; - might even be
a “lift”.

Jesus made disciples: he modelled & told them to do many things, including, lastly, to go, & make diciples, of all the nations.
a group prayer, made with Tim Holley before the 2016 Cornerstone Members' Conf.:
Thanks to you, God of Jesus
for your great life-giving ways.
You're the one who now sees us
so it's you that we now praise!
You started this whole world off,
& you breathed your life in man.
As a father, you were chuffed,
with your word it all began.
Thus you taught us how to teach,
to take on the greatest job
(otherwise beyond our reach)
like the time you fed that mob
(of “sheep without a shepherd”)
gathered, without direction;
your heart’s response & method,
as Father made connection!
Please do that again in us
that we might help all your kids,
that we might love all others
in the sort of way you did.
Not to say your love has changed:
I truly feel it more now
than I did when Peter ranged
the Galillee, & then somehow
wrote to those who ha'en't seen him,
yet to them he was precious,
since the love of God gleaned them
from a world that is specious.
Amen! Amen, a-amen!

The Mother of a very lucky son
Mother of me,
Shell, Man., & Craig,
you patiently
loved, & portrayed
the love of the
one who loved you.
You helped us see
past our cocoon,
to live in a
greater big world
where love displayed,
thought to unfold,
capture our hearts,
give us a taste
of where to start,
& what to waste.
Waste time on folk
who God sends there,
(& with your bloke)
you'd really share
the love of One
who loved his kids,
not always fun;
that's what you did.
And I should know
for I was sent
"long time ago".
Seen how it went.
Now I would say
for me & my
fam'ly, today,
though we don't try
all of the time,
(sometimes self-ish)
true love's sublime
artwork (it's dish),
gives us "knowing"
of bigger love;
& it's growing,
helped from above,
in us as seeds
planted by you,
you, & your deeds,
(though words were too).
Mum, from your store
keep listening,
praying, we're your
thankful offspring.

Voicing & Answering Concerns..
Last night, after tea, we were reading out loud the next chapter of a children's fantasy story (from a hundred years ago) in the lounge, with desert, and came upon a question within our company:
What is meant by that statement: "..no one ever gives anything to another properly & really without keeping it."? I don't get it!
I answered by saying something like "think about it as we go, & you'll get it." After finishing the chapter, the person who asked the question again afirmed that they didn't "get it"... and we talked about two possible meanings of it together, especially looking at the context of the quote in the story... I think we all enjoyed it.
After though, while we were still sitting there, just before we were about to head off severally, someone boldly spoke up & commented that she thought the original questioner may have felt "put down" by the tone/wording of my answer. Then together we brain-stormed about options for the answerer & the questioner, this is the outcome, the next morning over breakfast:
4 important lessons
that we did learn last night
in our story sessions
They gave us lots of light:
when we’re asked a question
Return a question back,
then, Affirm the person,
so they can stay on-track*
don’t explain the whole thing
just Give a hint instead,
and for when I’m asking:
Request a hint to tread...
and a fifth next morning
came as we forged this rhyme:
When someone is “gnawing”
(at the process, or time),
their “gnawing” might be a
creative “questioning”,
so we could use today
those 4 lessons (and sing)!
Paul, Katrina, & Milly Walker, & David Breen.
* "on-track" in terms of the relationship/friendship moving forward, not just the argument.

Good. 'n' Happy Birth-
-day celebrations!
May there be much mirth
as well as elations:
lived on this old Earth
twenty eight whole years

yet 'tsnot been all sad,
there's been times to smile,
where a beam of glad-
ness joins deep joy, while
your strong love, it grows

God, you only knows
much that's quite funny
about these past years
of her life so far...
We know she endears
'rself to us, we are
glad of her open
heart & soul to us;
more than a token
honesty (& fuss).
Hanni, we are glad
that you are the you,
come through Mum & Dad

Adult Education
(What is warming up if it's not un-cooling?)
Adults come to the table
with a life of learning too.
They are not kids, unable,
or immature; well, some do
have problems learning, but
it's often from their schooling.
If the teacher isn't shut-
-off from them - they're "un-cooling"!
So ask a thoughtful question,
tell stories of this stuff used,
give options for ingestion,
depending on - who's confused.
