Poor old Danny......miss him so much. Bet you do too.
Very rich "young" Daniel!
Yes, I bet you do miss
him, and though he's going well
it's the same here - sadness.
God, we know we've got you
and Daniel was your gift,
and so we say thank you.
You know that starts to lift
our spirits up. Thanks to
you for days of life here
with each other (from you)
who brings friendship and cheer.

What was that Celtic book of prayers?
A couple of years ago, at Desert Trek, for evening devotions you read from a (Celtic?) book of prayers (devotions?). Do you remember the book I might be referring to? Could you tell me the title and author (or enough identifying information to perhaps track it down and buy a copy)?
Yes, My wife has loaned ours out i think, it is Celtic daily prayer.
Here is a link to the prayers on the web. very accessible, through the links to the Daily Office on the RHS of the page.
God, please help this brother
and sister, with their bairns,
to serve as a mother
serves loved ones with her hands,
and lips. With warnings - "Burn-ey!"
May they, as they build cairns
of stones to mark the journey
still listen to God's plans
and thus become his prophet
who, like Jeremiah said,
speak God's Word (don't cough it),
and folk hear, and understand,
and turn from their wicked ways
to their God who saved them
that's what Jeremiah says
Oh, make it true (again)!

Books that were coming....................did not arrive when.. (oh, that feels numbing...................how do we talk then?) What we expected .........................didn't come through, we're not dejected.......................we'll see what YOU do!
God bless you brother.
God, bring another
way for the scriptures
to stop the strictures
of time, and of place;
we now do embrace
YOU for whom nothing
is too hard. We sing,
and we're even glad
when things can seem bad
'cause we'll see what you
are able to do!
Amen.
